Happy August!! Wow , this hot, hot, summer is flying by!! And, it is time for another Stampsmith Challenge!!! I said it would be an easy theme and it is. The challenge theme for the month of August is:
ANYTHING GOES--------WITH AT LEAST ONE STAMPSMITH STAMP
And, there is an extra special prize this month!!! Here are all the details courtesy of Val:
This month we will be having a random draw for TWO winners - one from our faithful players and one from all of the kind comments left on the design team AND player blogs!
Every wonderful comment you leave will enter your name in the draw for some mystery spoiling from the very appreciative Stampsmith Design Team! Be sure to visit everyone and leave some love for added chances to win!
Thanks, Val!! Wow!! An additional prize just for commenting. How easy is that!! Now on with my Design Team Card.
I stamped good old Will (Shakespeare) on glossy white paper. I inked the stamp with Vintage Sepia (Versa Fine) first...don't stamp yet! Then go around the edge of the stamp with a black ink pad....now you can stamp! I tore the image out; distress it with Vintage Photo Distress ink (Ranger) and added a torn oval from black CS.
The background is made with Crafter's Workshop Template: Numbers Collage and spray inks. (See my tutorial here.)
I added a great big bow from bronze satin ribbon that is befitting The Bard. Don't for get to leave a comment here and with the other Design Team Members and participants to be eligible for the extra prize!!! Join in the fun and create an Anything Goes project and link it up on The Stampsmith Challenge Blog!! Can't wait to see your project!
Some Challenges for The Bard:
City Crafters: use solids
Fashionable Stamping: Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday : focus on the ribbon
Tuesday Taggers: anything goes
Twisted Tuesday: anything goes
Fun, fun, fun!! Hope you are having a great day!! Love ya.
