Circle Easel

Hello Everyone,
Sharing a cute project today.  It is an easel card made with circles instead of squares. This card is on the small side.  I used the largest circle dies I had.  The largest circle being four inches across.

I used die cuts to decorate the card.

Here is how it looks from the side.

So glad you stopped in today.  See you again soon.

Bunny Birthday

Hello Everyone,
Have a cute bunny birthday card to share today.  I made this one for my Mom.  She loves anything with bunnies.

I did a little coloring with markers and layered on pink and brown papers.  This stamp is from an older Stampin Up set.

Thanks for stopping by.  Next time I will share an easel card made with circles.  See you soon.

My Valentine

Hello Everyone!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

This is the card I made for my Valentine.  ( Aww, how sweet.)
The inspiration for this card was the ribbon with the silver hearts.  I have had this ribbon for quite a while and have not used much of it.  I decided it needed to be the focal point and not just an embellishment.  I laid it down over red cardstock warping it under the edges of the cardstock.  I added a strip of polka dot decorative paper on the opposite side of the card.

I added a big sheer bow and a stamped heart to complete the card.

Hope you have a lovely Valentine's day.  See you soon for a sweet birthday card with bunnies.

Valentine's Day Cards Watercolored

Hello Friends,
Today, I wanted to share three more of the cards I made for friends and family.  I used the "Roses for You" stamp set (Simon Says Stamp).  I added the heart from the set on the first card.  Sentiments are from My Sentiments Exactly.
(See three more cards on my first Valentines post here)

To get this look I stamped the image with Versa Mark ink on Mixed Media Paper.  Then heat embossed with white powder on the first and second cards and black powder on the last.  I used Distress inks with a wet brush to paint on the color.

Heart die cuts were used on this card for layers and a foiled paper.

Thanks for stopping by!  I have one more Valentine's day card that I will post tomorrow.  Hope you have enjoyed my Valentine's day cards.  See you next time.

Valentine's Day with Lovely Papers

Hi!
Back again with a stylish Valentine's Day card I made for a friend.  I used some pretty papers that really just did not need much else.  Take a look.

I cut the foil heart square from the same paper stack and added a layer  of cardstock. A pretty ribbon bow was all it needed to complete.

Simple pretty!   I will be back with more later!

Valentines!!

Hello Everyone!
Winter has really been misbehaving here in Michigan.  There were a few days that I had to just stay home and make cards.....Like that was a bad thing...LOL
I made a stack of Valentine's Day card for family and friends. I will share them over the next several posts.  Today's cards use a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called "Roses for You".

To get this look I stamped the image with Versa Mark ink on Mixed Media Paper.  Then heat embossed with white powder on the first card and black powder on the others.  I used Distress inks with a wet brush to paint on the color.

I added lots of layers by die cutting with my Cuttlebug.  The dies are  Hearts Collection from Stampin' Up and the word Love from Amuse Studios.
Also added paper doilies and ribbons.

Check back later for more Valentine ideas!!  See you soon.
