Chilly Weather, Warm Hugs

 Hello Everyone,

Oh! The chilly weather is here!  I made some cute cards to celebrate the nice chilly weather.  I used stamps from My Favorite Things.

This card has a die cut window.  I just used a square die cut and cut into my large background piece (the green card stock).  I set aside the cut out square for some other project.

Bear was colored with Copics and fussy cut.

Added some die cut trees on the second card.

Both cards can be used as general greetings cards, or Christmas cards.  I have been making some gifts for all the Nov and Dec birthdays.  Just about finished with those.  I have to frame some cross stitch pieces, and have a small quit project to start.  So just busy busy here. I will try to remember to photograph some of the gifts, so I can share with you.   See you next time.  Oh, boy, I almost forgot...I haven't even photographed my Christmas cards yet.  Gosh!  Better get on the ball.

See you next time!  Hope you day is filled with warm hugs!

Thanksgiving Pumpkins

 Hello Everyone,

I have one more Thanksgiving card to share.  This is a similar design to the card I posted in October here. I used torn textured paper and dry embossing for the background on this card.  The pumpkins were colored and fussy cut.

A stamped and die cut sentiment was added to the front.  Also added a  pretty bow to embellish the card.

See you again soon.  Maybe with something Christmas.  So glad you stopped by today.

PS: thankful for all the lovely trees that change into spectacular colors in the Fall.

Pumpkins and Thanksgiving

 Hello Everyone,

The leaves are falling and so are the temperatures.  I guess it is truly Fall now.  I still need to trim a bush and dig up the dahlias.  But, other then that, I am pretty much done with yard work until Spring.  And, with Fall comes Thanksgiving!  Today, I wanted to share with you more of my Thanksgiving cards.

I used the same pumpkin stamp as the last post here.  The image was colored with Copic markers.  Several layers of die cut squares were added.  And, I also added some die cut stems.

The inside of the cards:

I have been making some Christmas ornaments lately.  I really need to get started on my Christmas cards!!  But, I like to fill a basket with handmade ornaments and set them out on Thanksgiving day.  Everyone takes one home for decorating their trees.  So, I have to get my ornaments done and then I can start on the cards.  Lots to do here at the McAlpines'.   It is all fun!

Check back for more Thanksgiving cards in the next post.  I hope you are having a great day.

PS: I am thankful for all the beautiful stamps available for crafting.  Just another one of those small things that make life great

You Are the Pumpkin Spice

 Hello Everyone,

Coffee Loving Card Makers is having a blog hop!  I am definitely a coffee loving card maker!!

I made this card to send to my nephew who loves pumpkin spice coffees.

The stamps are from My Favorite Things "Sweater Weather in the Woods".  The background dies are from Stampin Up "Home Together Dies".

The dies were cut from white card stock to create the rolling hills with trees background.

I stamped with black dye ink and colored with Copic markers.  I fussy cut the animals and added them to the background.

They certainly are enjoying their pumpkin spice lattes.  YUM

So happy you stopped by today.  Hope you are enjoying your favorite coffee drink!  See again soon!
