Birthday Card for Dog Lovers

Hello Everyone,
Here is the birthday card for the dog lover in your life.  I used a stamp from a card making magazine.  The paw print embossing folder came with the stamp.  The puppy was colored with copic markers.

This is the inside:

Added the puppy on the inside too.

This was sent to one of  my best buddies for her birthday.  She is indeed a dog lover.

Well, see you next time and so glad you stopped by today.

Die Cut Envelope Embellishment

Hello Everyone!

Today, I have a collection of cards I made be using a die cut envelope as the focal point.  I cut it from Kraft cs and made a tag to go in the envelope.  I cut four pieces of decorative paper for the background and added a metallic doily cut into pieces.

Here is the tag that I made to go into the envelope.  Also added a sentiment to the tag.

The butterflies are some stickers I found at the dollar store.  Work so well with the rest of the card.

Same design in green.

This one in navy and red.

This is what is on the inside of the cards.

Really fun project.  They will be sent out to friends and family.  Just a little pick me up.

See you next time.

Bird rub On Card

 Hello Everyone,

Here is a quick card I made using a rub on I had in my stash.  I added a bunch of die cut shapes for layering and some black/white decorative paper.

Used teal for the accent color on one of the die cut circles and the ribbon.

Added a little distress ink the edges of the image.

Fun card for an every day occasion.  It is in my to send box.

So glad you stopped by today.  See next time for a collection of cards that have a die cut envelope for the focal point.

Sympathy in Shades of Aqua

 Hello Everyone,

Today's card is one that is some times difficult to make:  a Sympathy card.  To come up with a good design, I often used element stamps.  And keep the color palette simple. I also added a punched edge on this card. A pretty bow finished up the card. Fibers and element stamp are from Stampin Up.  The sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly.

So glad you stopped by today.  Hope you days is going well and you are finding a little time to make a few cards.  See again soon!!

Kites Take Flight Part Two

 Hello Everyone!
Sharing the second part of the Kite cards I made using Webster's Pages papers.  I had a couple of the 6 inch paper packs in my stash and wanted to use them.  I thought there were lots of designs that really would pair nicely with a kite image.  I used Kite  3-D stickers on the cards that my stamping buddy, Jan, shared.  I made this collection to be used as all occasion cards and have sent out several already.

Added a  stamped and punched sentiment with a die cut fence to this card.

Used the die cut fence again with a die cut grass on this card.

Hope you enjoyed checking out the kite cards as much as I did making them!!  I will be back next time with a Sympathy card in a aqua color palette.  See you then!!  I hope you day is filled with many delightful hours of creativity.  Wishing you a lovely day.

Kites Take Flight Part one

 Hello Everyone,
Back today with cards I made using pretty papers from Webster's Pages I had in my stash. Their papers are so pretty.  I decided to design the cards around the papers instead of designing around a focal point.

My stamping buddy, Jan, had shared with me some of these cute kites.  I gathered some appropriate sentiments and paired with the papers to make this collection of cards.

I added a die cut picket fence and grass on the card with the gray kite.

The cards went together quickly once I had all the papers and sentiments paired up.  The cards are great for most occasions,  I have used them for get well cards too.  Also good for grads and birthdays.

I will be back next time with Part two of this collection.
