I also added a peach ribbon and peach bakers twine.
On the inside, I stamped a birthday sentiment and added another tea cup.

Paper Scrap Bonanza Part Three

 Hello Everyone,

Part three of the paper scraps bonanza!  This is a great design for using up your scrap papers.

First two cards are very girly.  I even added lace to the first card.

The last two cards are more masculine.  I used blue and brown papers with metallic embellishments.

See you next time for two cards that use fabric.  Should be fun!

Bird with Die Cuts

Hello Everyone,
Hope your summer is going well.  We are doing good here.  Pretty busy with garden projects.  We put in 12 arbor vitae bushes last week.  I have lots of trimming and deadheading to keep up with too.  But, always enjoy working outside and love all the flowers and veggies.

Still making cards too.  Today, I have two square cards that feature a little bird die cut and layers of decorative papers.  I used the same double sided paper for both cards.  I challenged myself to use the same paper and see how different the cards would be.

I added a die cut Happy and then stamped birthday.  A striped ribbon was added to complete the card.

The inside has another bird and a cute sentiment.

This is the second version using the same double sided decorative paper.  Totally different color scheme was achieved even though I used the same paper.

Both are very cheerful and will go to someone special for their birthday.
So glad you stopped by and will see you next time with a butterfly card.

Ooh La La Birthday

Hello Friends,
Hope you are doing well.  We are hanging in there waiting for the end of the stay at home order.  I have been making lots of cards.  And, I have been cooking  and baking a lot.  Seems to make things easier to take if you have good things cooking and the aroma of spices and yummy things in the air.

So, today, I have a card I made for my sister-in-law's birthday.  I used a die cut Eiffel tower and alphabet stamps to create the Ooh la la sentiment.
I die cut the light colored background with the Eiffel tower die and the navy cardstock.  I removed the tower from the light background and inserted the navy Eiffel tower into the space left by the die cut.

On the inside:
Found this Fabulous stamp at Hobby Lobby before the stay at home order.  Really a cute sentiment for all my girl friends and family.  The Happy Birthday is from My Sentiments Exactly.

So, just a fun and different birthday card.  So happy you stopped by today.
See again soon.

Still "at home" here in Michigan.  Still making lots of cards.  The weather has turned nice and have been working in the garden quite a bit.  Mowed the lawn yesterday.  So, today I thought I would share two cheerful Birthday cards.  Cards are made with a My Favorite Things stamp.

The background is made up of four equal size rectangles cut from decorative papers.  The top left and bottom right corners are rounded.

The cute image is colored with Copic markers.

Second version:

The cards are for a friend who has many nieces and nephews.

Thanks for stopping by and see you next time for another pretty birthday card.

I used super bright colors and prints on the decorative papers for the background.

I like how this turned out.  I will probably make a few more of this design.

See you next time!!

Hope you are well.

Peacock Birthday

Hello Everyone,
Hope your holiday season was enjoyable!  We had a lovey holiday season.  Today, I am enjoying watching the snow fall.  Lately, I have been busy catching up on some projects around the house.  Reorganized a closet and a kitchen cabinet, refashioned two duster coats into jackets, cross stitched some pictures, etc...
I made this Peacock Birthday card for a dear friend.

This is a Stampin' Up set and I colored the area behind the peacock with Copics.

Thanks for stopping by today!  See you next time with more crafting fun.
