Steampunk Graduation Card

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share the graduation card I made for my nephew's college graduation.  (Yes, we are all soooo proud of him.)  His degree is in mechanical engineering.  He likes Steampunk designs, so this is what I came up with.  I used a teal and brown color combination (which I think worked really well with the theme and images).

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment once in each of the two colors, cut the sentences apart and layered each segment.

I also added some stamping to the envelope.

Okay, so I will see you soon for more crafty funness (don't think that is a word, but I am going to use it anyway.  LOL  Have a great day!

The Painter in Me

Hi All,
Have a little something different today.  I painted three tea pot themed canvases for my sister-in-law (Sandie).  I used some tea pots drawings I designed for a series of quilts  made quite a few years ago.  The drawings were transferred onto the canvases and painted with acrylic paints.  No masterpiece, but a fun project and the paintings look very stylish on Sandie's wall.

The two tea pots are on 8 x 10 canvases

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope your day is super!  See you next time.

Center Diamond Card layout

Hello All,
I made a collection of cards using this center diamond layout.  The papers and colors are on the masculine side.  But, I always need masculine cards too. Stamps are from Stampin' Up.  Love this layout and use it often.  You can see how many different cards I made from the layout.

Birthday Celebrations

Hello Everyone,
I have been so busy working on landscaping projects!!  I have completed all my garden projects.  Yea!!  I did take some time out to make this card for my nephew's birthday.  I also played around with the stamps in the Stampin' Up set used for the card.  I included photos of the extra stamping at the end of the post.  I will make cards using the extras later.
I also used SU inks on the projects. On the card I used Always Artichoke and Bordering Blue (retired)
