Hi Dreamers!
Here I am back as promised with my messy desk/work space. Why am I posting my messy desk??? Well, it is the brain child of the lovely Julia at her blog The Stamping Ground . Doesn't it sound like fun to check out the creative work spaces of other artists around the world??!! Legalized snooping! LOL. I haven't been up to a lot this last week as my husband had the week off. But, anyway, here is my messy work space.
I still have a few of the Fall cards to finish up (upper left).
The Santa tag is done and I posted that yesterday for my weekly Blockheads Design Team project.
I am working on the Owl card which I finished later and posted today here. I am coloring this digi from Meljens Designs with Copics and Marvy Le Plume markers.
Thanks for stopping by to see my messy work space I edited out some of the really messy spots to the right. You can't help getting messy with all the inks and things, as I am sure you all know. Happy WOYWW!!! Love ya.
Karen

Getting messy is half the fun of crafting. Texture paste is a thick paste substance, looks like a cross between grey porrige and concrete, spread it through masks to create patterned effects or spread it straight onto your page to create some texture. It can be mixed with a little colour or coloured over once dry, it's great fun.
ReplyDeleteLove that owl image and your fall cards I am sure will be fantastic too.
ReplyDeletel like to see how other crafters work and what space they have you look like your busy with this image and what a lovely image too! thanks for sharing this x

The seam binding - blimey, now you're asking! It came from The Ribbon Girl, and it's very soft and crinkles beautifully, so it's not the stiff sort I think I've come across in the past... but as I'm completely sewing-phobic, that's as much as I can tell you!!
