  • Use the die cut to cut out the decorative paper layer
  • Print the digi from computer on white CS

Valentine's Day Card with Meljens image

Hi Dreamers!
Are you ready to see some Valentine's Day inspiration???  I have several cards for you today.  The cards are among the 30 that I made for the From The Heart Card Drive--hosted by the lovely Winter.  See the details of the card drive on her blog here.  I used a Meljens Design digital image on this batch of the cards.  Here is a photo of the whole 30 cards.

Let's take a look at this Cute love bunny with a White on White background.

The image was printed out with my computer and colored with Copic Markers.  I added a second layer of Dry embossed White CS.

Here is another version of the same image.

I added a bit more color with this version by adding a layer of pink CS.

And, here, I added some pretty pink Heart paper and some red CS.

The cards have all been sent out to Winter.  She will send them off to Hospitalized Children.  They will be delivered on Valentine's Day.  Isn't that nice!!??  Just sending a little love.  And, for all you Blockheads fans, they are one of the sponsors of the card drive and are offering two stamps sets!!

Winter Birds Christmas Greeting

Hi Dreamers!
Today, I am channeling cuteness.......I wanted to make a cute Christmas card and so I printed out a few Meljens images.  I thought these birds were so sweet.

The images is colored with Copic Markers.  The DP is from K & Company.

The Label and the circles are die cut with  Spellbinders dies and the scallop square is a Sizzix die.

My Top Tip Tuesday Tip is to use Stickles to make a glittery frame around the image.

This will go in my Christmas Card basket.  I know I keep saying this, "Now I need to start mailing the cards"  !!  I did go to the Post Office today and buy stamps.  So, I have no excuses now.  Maybe I will get started on that tomorrow.

Challenges for my Winter Birds Christmas Greeting
Meljens: Sketch

365 Cards: Day 279 --gingham
Clear It Out: Christmas--the DP I have had for 3 years.

Craft room Door: Anything goes #47

Tomorrow, check back for two snowman ornaments made out of dominoes.  See you then!  Love ya.

WOYWW 177- An Owl Card in the Making

Hi Dreamers!
Here I am back as promised with my messy desk/work space.  Why am I posting my messy desk???  Well, it is the brain child of  the lovely Julia at her blog The Stamping Ground .  Doesn't it sound like fun to check out the creative work spaces of other artists around the world??!!  Legalized snooping!  LOL.   I haven't been up to a lot this last week as my husband had the week off.  But, anyway, here is my messy work space.

I still have a few of the Fall cards to finish up (upper left).

The Santa tag is done and I posted that yesterday for my weekly Blockheads Design Team project.

I am working on the Owl card which I finished later and posted  today here.  I am coloring this digi from Meljens Designs with Copics and Marvy Le Plume markers.

Thanks for stopping by to see my messy work space   I edited out some of the really messy spots to the right.  You can't help getting messy with all the inks and things, as I am sure you all know.  Happy WOYWW!!!  Love ya.
