Amazing Collage Card with Lost Coast Designs

Hello Everyone!
We are in the midst of  the New Stamps Showcase Event from Lost Coast Designs!  The Design Team has been making projects that showcase the new releases!  Stop in and comment on the Portal to Creativity blog.  On the last day stop by and let us know which stamp is your favorite.  At the end of the event, all commenters will go into a drawing.  The winner will receive their favorite stamp!!!!!

See all the Event  projects here and all the new stamps here.  I used three new stamps on my "Amazing" Collage Card.

Materials:
Stamps: New Releases- Grunge Border 2", Misc Words, ATC Faces Set and Cheesecloth Background all from Lost Coast Designs
Ink: Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, and Black Soot Distress Inks; black dye
CS:Lavender, Yellow, and white
Spray Ink: Willow and Terracotta Walnut inks, Cork Tattered Angels
Lace
Washi Tape
Heat Gun

Make It:

  • Make a card base of lavender CS and distress edges with Vintage Photo
  • On yellow CS, Stamp the Grunge border and Cheesecloth background with Tea Dye ink
  • Apply spray inks to background and dry with heat gun

  • Stamp face with Black Soot ink
  • Distress edges of background piece with Vintage Photo
  • Add piece to card base

  • Stamp words on white CS with black ink and cut out
  • Distress the words with Vintage Photo
  • Glue words to card
  • Add lace and washi tape

Really loving all the new releases!
Note:The Misc Word set is really cool!!  It is a 6" x 7" sheet of rubber filled with all kinds of words-- Over 75 different words.  You could cut them apart or keep them all together.  I left them all together for now and just stamped the whole sheet of rubber on white CS.   I cut the words out as I need them.  Worked really well so far.
