Hello Everyone!
Hope you are having a great weekend. Taking a minute to share this 50th Anniversary card. I used an older stamp from Inkadinkado. The ink is from Stampin' Up and is called Crushed Curry.
The embellishments are a bit formal as I wanted a formal look. I used a gold ribbon and tulle. Gold glitter glue was added to the heart.
The die cuts were distressed with a gold pigment ink.
I made this for a friend who is celebrating her 50th anniversary. It is already in the mail! See you next time!!

Butterfly Birthday
Hello Everyone!
Sharing a pretty butterfly birthday card today. This is a stamp I have had in my collection for quite a while. It was made by Northwoods and is one of my fav butterflies. I colored a bit with Copics and added a sage green doily.
Stamped, cut out, and layered a sentiment stamp from Stampin' Up. Added a pretty scallop edged ribbon and lots of pearls. I just love combining lavender with green. It is a great combo and one you see in nature all the time. Love it!!
Hope you enjoyed my butterfly card. And, I hope you are having a great day. See you next time for some owl birthday cards. OHHH.... sounds fun!!

Wedding Theme with Dry Embossing
Hello Everyone!
I wanted to share two cards today made with dry embossed backgrounds. Both of the cards have a wedding theme. The first could be for a wedding or anniversary. The second is for an anniversary. I used Distress inks to add a touch of color.
Added a stamped and punched embellishment with a bit of ribbon.
Die cut the word Happy and added a stamped sentiment.
Hope you enjoy all the dry embossed cards!! Next series of cards will showcase 3-D embellishments. I know you all have a big box full of those embellishments---just like me. LOL See you next time. Have a lovely day!!

Birthday Cards for Children- Oh So Cute
Hello Everyone,
Back today with two cute Birthday cards. Both are for younger children. The images are digis from Dearie Dolls (boy's) and Baby Bud (girl's). Copics were used for coloring. I decorated the envelopes too. Paper was added to the flap on the boy's card. On the girl's card, a flower embellishment was added to the front of the envelope.
Jazzed up the envelope!
Thanks for popping in! See you again soon for more of the embossed background cards.

More Fun Cards with Embossing Folders
Hello Dreamers!
Happy Wednesday! Just popping in this morning before heading out for the day. Finally getting my hair cut this afternoon. You may remember that I moved in Oct of 2015. So, still trying to find a hair stylist. Harder than finding a doctor. LOL I have crazy curly hair that is difficult to cut and the local 15 minute hair chop shop is just not an option for me. Wish me luck!! LOL
Now, let's talk cards! I am sharing more of the cards I made using a dry embossed background. In most of the cards, the dry embossing is the focal point. I added some coloring and minimal embellishments. I used Distress inks on the coloring.
A stack of embellishments were added to this card.
Super cute Birthday Card!!
Well, have to run!! I hope you are having a lovely day!! See you soon for more card making fun.

Embossing Folders to the Rescue
Hello Everyone!
I have more pics today of the cards I made using dry embossed backgrounds. I know you all have a big stack of dry embossed pieces that have not been used ---just like me. (I always like to try out new folders and end up with a big stack.) I pulled out the stacks and layered, colored, added ribbon and ended up with some fun cards! Distress inks were used to color the examples here. Don't be afraid to try some unusual color combos.
Will be back soon with more dry embossed background samples!! See you then.

Dragonfly Sympathy Card
Hello All,
Hot as heck here in Michigan, USA. Taking a break from the outside to share this sympathy card I made for the death of a treasured family member. The stamps are from Stampin' Up. I used gold and platinum pigment inks for the stamping. I did not used embossing powder. My ink pads were a little dry so the ink dried quickly.
I also made the envelope and decorated it. This is the front of the envelope below.
Embellishment on the back of the envelope:
The dragonflies were die cut from a gold metallic paper and I used gold satin ribbon.
Inside of card:
I will be back with more of the cards I made using dry embossing. See you then!!
