I had a nice weekend celebrating my birthday. We went out for dinner on Saturday. And my brother and his girlfriend treated my to lunch on Sunday. Very fun! I am back today with a few cards that showcase decorative paper. I have lots of beautiful papers that I sometimes neglect. I decided to make the papers the focal point. I made seven cards total and will share the nautical/ beach themed cards today. (I am saving the other two for another post.) The cards have a masculine feel, but could be used for the ladies as well.
The papers are all from K & Company. I also used some of K & Company's Dimensional Stickers that coordinate with their papers. I left some blank on the inside and added a sentiment to some. Just a nice group of general cards.
This palm tree card is a retirement card
I did stamp a sentiment on this last card.
******Challenges for my Decorative paper cards:
Loves Rubber Stamps: a sentiment on the front--the last card with the ship
613 Avenue: anything goes
Unstampa belles: old stash---I used some pre-cut cards with matching envelopes that I have had for a year
Craft-Room: trees or leaves--the palm tree card
Through the craftroom door: anything goes
Well, that's it for today. I will back soon with two more cards that feature Decorative paper. See you then!! Love ya.
