Spring Colors Challenge with The Stampsmith

Hi Dreamers!
The first of the month sure seems to roll around quickly these days.  LOL  And, the first means it is time for a new challenge theme at The Stampsmith's Challenge Blog. The new theme for the month of April is:

SPRING COLORS

We would like to see all the lovely colors of Spring on your Stampsmith project.  You will have all month to complete your project that uses a Stampsmith image.  At the end of the challenge, a random draw will select one participant to receive a full sheet of rubber from The Stampsmith (a $21 value!!!)
For my Spring Colors Design Team project I used a stamp from the Full Sheet Called "Thank Heaven For Little Girls 1".   Here is what the whole set looks like.

Adorable, is all I can say!!  Here is my card.

The Spring Sentiment is from the Botanica Full Sheet.   All the papers and the ribbon are from Stampin' UP.  I stamped the darling little girl with Tuxedo Black dye ink from Memento on glossy white CS.  I wanted to add a touch of color to the photo stamp.  So, I colored the flowers with Copic Markers.  The Copics worked well since I stamped with dye ink.

A Few Fun Challenges for my Spring Girl:
Simon Says Stamp: anything goes
Fashionable Stampers: Spring is in the air
Scrap Birz: Copics and Spring
Sweet Stampin: spring

I hope you will stop over and check out all the other Design Teams projects and take the Spring Colors Challenge!!  I would love to see what you come up with.  I hope you are enjoying your weekend!  I spent all day yesterday making cards with my stamping buddy, Sharon.   We attended an event planned by our friend,
Suzanne.   We made 14 super fun cards and had a great time crafting together.  We also picked up some retired Stampin' Up products for our stashes.  Very fun!!!   Well, have a great day!  Love ya.

  2. Love how you 'colorized' the photo, just like a photographer did to my 1 year-old portraits in the 60s! It's so sweet with a colorful bouquet on your little girl.
