Thankful for you with The Stampsmith
Hi Dreamers!
How about a Thanksgiving card to balance out all the Christmas projects everywhere in blog-land ?!! I made this Thanksgiving card for my husband. I used a so, so sweet Stampsmith stamp from the full sheet called "Thank Heavens For Little Girls 1".
The image is stamped with black dye ink on glossy white paper. I layered the image on mustard CS. The Fall themed decorative paper makes a great back drop for this sweet image. The DP is from Me and My Big Ideas .
I tied a bow in a wide sheer bronze ribbon. The sentiments are from Mark's Finest/Heinrich stamps - Thanksgiving Greetings.
And, how about a few fun challenges for my Thankful for you card??!!
365 Cards: setting the scene
Party time Tuesday: Thank you
My time to craft: vintage
Card Makin Mamas: thanksgiving or thanks
Friends of Speedy: anything goes
So, having a nice weekend here. Great weather and unseasonably warm. Worked on a few Christmas cards today. Will have those ready for Tuesday..... See you later! Love ya

Thankful Mum Card made with Paper Towels
Hi Dreamers!
Really in a Fall mood here in Dreamland! I am working on a few Thanksgiving cards this week Today's card is made with Paper Towels. What??!! Yes!! Here is the story. I was making some backgrounds and wiped up ink from the Craft Sheet with a couple paper towels. I was looking at them thinking the colors look really cool. And, I remembered the Technique making textured paper with toilet paper . So, out comes this new embossing folder with mums--this one is called "Awesome Blossoms" from Sizzix.. And look how cool this looks.
I rubbed some watercolor crayons over the flowers and leaves. And, also sponged some green ink on the leaves. The card base is made from dark wine textured CS. I added a layer of Lucky Limeade CS (Stampin' Up).
This card only needed a big bow in the corner for embellishments. Well, now I guess I have to start saving the paper towels. LOL But, only if the inky mess looks cool. LOL
I wanted this to double as a Thanksgiving card for my BFF. I stamped a nice sentiments from Mark's Finest Heinrich and Happy Thanksgiving from Impression Obsession.
And, now, a few fun Challenges for my Paper Towel Mum Thanksgiving card.
Dutch Dare: Thankful
Paper Play: thankful
Stampin Sisters in Christ: thankful
Craft Punked: fall/thanksgiving
Crafty Catz: add texture
Heck of a Challenge: 50 shades of fall
How is your weekend going?? Doing good here. Let's see, what do I have planned for this week? A few more Thanksgiving cards, and whatever else I can come up with. Hey, I used paper towels today. You just never know what will happen here in Dreamland. Love ya!

Fall Quilt and Craft Show Card
Hi Dreamers!
Felling the Fall vibe yet? The leaves are starting to change here in Michigan and have put me in the mood to make Fall themed cards. My project today is made with a Stampsmith Stamp Set called Country Landscape full sheet. The quilt themed stamps on this set really made me think---Fall Quilt and craft show. I made this card thinking that it was a poster to advertise a show in the country in Autumn. Think rustling leaves, crisp air, and changing leaves. Are you feeling it??!! Here is the card.
I stamped the images with Sienna Archival ink on glossy white CS. Then cut them into squares and rectangles; and glued to a base.
I cut narrow ( 1/8") from decorative paper and used them to created a patchwork like border around the stamped images. I let some of the borders hang off the edge of the base.
Just a reminder that The Stampsmith Grateful Challenge is still open and you have plenty of time to enter. You could take home a $21 gift certificate to The Stampsmith store.
Hope you are having a lovely fall day! Love ya.

WOYWW 176 - Fall Themed
Hello Everyone!
Is it really Wednesday again? My, the days just seem to fly by! As it is Wednesday, it is time to fly around the world checking out all the work spaces. How is this possible you ask. Well, through the magic of Julia at The Stamping Ground and Mr linky of course. I have been quite busy lately. I have finished making the cards that I will sell at a small show in December. I ended up with about 200 cards. They have to all be packaged yet. So, I thought I would make a few cards for charities and for friends and family. Hence these fall themed cards. Half are going to two charities and half to family. I used a stamp from Memory Box. There is a bag of twine that I may use on some of the cards.
Well, I am off to visit some other work desks!! Hope you are having a great day!! Love ya.
