Stampsmith Challenge - Friends

Hi Everyone,
Time for another Stampsmith Challenge!  The new theme is FRIENDS.  Since this is the 15th, please use a Stampsmith image to eligible for the prize.   For my Design Team card, I choose the friends image from the "Those Were the Days" Full Sheet.

The image was stamped with black dye ink on glossy white CS.  I added a frame made from micro beads using Wonder tape.

The main image was layered with a piece of glossy black CS that was dry embossed.  The other layers are cut from Crate Paper DP.  The die cut flower and tag are  also from Crate Paper.

The sentiment stamped on the tag is included in the Those Were the Days stamp set.  I finished the card off with a great big bow.
Let's see what you come up.  Link up your project on the Stampsmith Challenge blog.  You have until June 30th  to link up your project.

Hubby Update: As some of my followers and friends know, My husband has been off work since Dec 2010 due to cancer.  I am happy to report that Don went back to work yesterday!!!  I was a bit uneasy about him going back....I really think he needed another month off.  But, things being what they are, his employers wanted him to come back now.    Please keep him in your prayers that he continues to get stronger and will have the stamina for his stressful job.  And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been praying for us.   The Oncologist thinks Don is in remission.  He will have more Cat Scans done in August to see if the tumors are gone.

Thanks for dropping by and hope you are having a great day.  Love ya!
Karen

  1. Hi Karen
I couldn't be happier to read that your DH managed to return to work but completely understand why you were nervous about him doing so. Will continue to keep him in my thoughts.
As for your card - oh this is such fun and is brimming with the notion of female friendship.
Glad I can count you as one of my Blogging friends :)
