Whimsical Diva in Purple with Lost Coast Designs

Hello Dreamers!
Hope you week is going well.  I had a fun day celebrating my birthday with friends and family.  Had lunch with my bf and then shopping with mom and dinner.  Also had a party on Sunday given by the best bro in the world.  Super fun.

Note: check out the Lost Coast Design Challenge for September!!
The theme is Anything Goes.  You may use any stamps not just Lost Coast Designs.

Now, you are going to love the stamp I used on my project for today.  It is really outrageous.  That is one of the things I love about Lost Coast Designs; the stamps are so unique.  I paired this "Diva" with a bright border in contrasting colors. Awesome cool!

Materials:
Stamps: Feather Diva with Face, Geometric Border both from Lost Coast Designs
Ink: Pale Lilac Marvy; Real Red Stampin' Up
Marker: Rhubarb Stalk Memento
CS: White, red, lavender, and purple
Red Baker's Twine
Purple narrow ribbon
Red Rhinestones

Make It:

  • Make a card from purple CS and add a layer of lavender CS
  • On white CS, stamp Feather Diva with Pale Lilac ink
  • Trace over the line in the center or each feather with the maker
  • Stamp the Geometric Border with red ink
  • Add a strip of red CS to the edge of the Diva
  • Add all the stamped pieces to the card base

  • Cut a slit through the card front at the top and bottom edge of the stamped piece
  • Insert the twine and ribbon through the slits tying in a bow
  • Add the rhinestones to the Diva--What's a diva without some bling?

Pretty wild stamp, isn't it??  Love it.

See you next time!!  Thanks for stopping in.
