The Blockheads Technique Challenge is still open and will end on the 21st. I have more fabric stamping to share with you today. I not only stamped on the fabric but I pieced the images with fabric. Just like paper piecing , but with fabric. I used two Penny Black stamps that are available at Blockheads Paper Arts. All the instructions for stamping on fabric can be found in the Technique section of the Blockhead's web site here. Here is the first card.
Bleached and Unbleached Muslin 100% cotton fabric
Print Calico Fabric
Stamp the image on the bleached muslin and again on two different print fabrics. Cut out the clothing from the print fabric. Color the skin, animals, and table with markers. Glue the cut out clothing to the base stamped fabric piece. And, that's it!! Wasn't that easy??!! I mounted the fabric on a stiff piece of white CS and then glued that to the lavender card base.
I continued the fabric theme by making a fabric rosette and using some fabric strips as embellishments.
Card Two is made in the same way with the same materials. This stamp is called Tres Chic and is stamped on unbleached muslin.
I added some paper flowers for embellishments.
Link up your entry here for a chance to win a gift certificate to Blockheads Paper Arts.
