It's a TAG-stravaganza today! (I made up that word and it means lots of tags. LOL ) I made three tags using a new Blockheads Paper Arts stamp set called Household-Sewing. This is what the whole set looks like.
Materials:
Versamark Pad
Galaxy Gold Pigment Ink- Brilliance
Ranger Distress Inks: Tattered Roses, Vintage Photo, Milled Lavender, Faded Jeans
Ranger Distress Stains: Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo
Pre-Cut Tags or Make your own
Embossing Powder from Ranger: Gold Superfine, Clear Superfine
Ribbon, lace, gems, and pearls
TAG #1
Images were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Superfine Powder. I distressed the whole tag with Milled Lavender. The edges were distressed with Faded Jeans Distress ink. I added some lace pieces, an aqua ribbon, and various sized pearls. Here is a close up. I love the lavender and blue together, it is so dreamy!
TAG #2
Images were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Superfine Powder. I distressed the whole tag with Tattered Roses and the edges with Vintage Photo distress inks. Here is your close up.
I added pink lace, a brown satin ribbon, and pearls. The sentiment is from the Flowers-Daisies Stamp set.
TAG #3
The scissors were stamped with Galaxy Gold Pigment ink and heat embossed with Clear Superfine Powder. I used the new Distress Stains to color this tag-Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo. The stains come in a bottle with a sponge top. The stain is applied with the sponge top onto the paper. I used the Vintage Photo on the edges. The stains are very wet and require drying time. You could use a heat gun, but I did not what to re-heat my embossed images. So, I let this tag air dry. I added green polka dot ribbon, black lace, and black gems for accents. Close up:
I hope you have enjoyed today's TAG-stravaganza! There is still plenty of time to enter the Blockheads Faux Fabric Technique Challenge on our Facebook Page. It runs until August 21.
You have a great day, now. Take some time to stamp a little something. Love ya.
