Just for Fun Snowman

Hi Everyone,
Changing gears here a little today with a Winter Card. I wanted to try out some new Stamps from Mark's Finest. (They will be the November sponsor on The Stamping Vacation Blog.) I used the Country Snowman Clear set. I followed the Sketch from CC Monthly challenge blog fairly closely, but I omitted the flowers.


I stamped on white CS with black ink. I used markers and watercolored with ink to color the image. Die cut and emboss with a Spellbinders die. I layered lots of Glitter DP from My Mind's Eye. The CS is Chocolate Chip from Stampin' Up. I added a twill ribbon and gold rhinestones. And, I used a sentiment quote from the Frosty The Snowman show (sentiment stamp from My Sentiments Exactly).

    what a cute card, Karen! i like the warm, classy colours of the base and background panels with the fabby POPS of colour on the image - works wonderfully!
