Guest Designing at Desert Island Challenge Blog

Hi Everyone!
I am Guest Designing over at the Desert Island Challenge Blog!  Have you checked out their challenges?  They are really cool.   Every two weeks they have a new "Itinerary".  The Itinerary is a list of design elements that you can pick from to incorporate into your project.  You have to pick at least three from the list.  As Guest Designer, I got to come up with the "Itinerary" for this fortnight's challenge.

ITINERARY:   (Pick at least 3 from the list)
1. No White
2. Torn Edges
3. Dry Embossing
4. Fabric
5. Circle(s)
6. Beads
7. A Fish
8. Sentiment with the word "Happy" in it
9. A Tag
10. Watercoloring

So, I thought I would challenge myself to use as many of the Itinerary elements as I could.  I managed to use five of the elements:
No White    Fabric   A Fish      Beads     A Tag

I used a large Asian themed stamp, Japanese Ladies,  from Victorine Originals and the small fish is from  Blockheads Stamps.  The large stamp with stamped with black pigment ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  Cs: Gold and Rust- Bazzill; Cherry Cobbler - Stampin' Up.  The fish is stamped with Emboss It ink and heat embossed.  Tag is cut from a Sizzix die.  Layer the large stamped image on the rust Cs.  Add the ribbon around the bottom.  Loop through the hole in the tag various ribbons and  a fabric strip. Add the tag to the card with dimensionals.  Add the beads with double sided narrow tape.  Here are some close ups.

Pretty fun!  Head over to the Desert Island Challenge Blog and to see more Design Team projects and link up your project.  Happy World Card Making Day!!  Love ya.
