State Your State Challenge at Stamping Vacation

Hi Friends,

Hope you are having a great weekend. Today I have a Design Team card for the State your State Challenge at Stamping Vacation Challenge blog.

Our Monthly sponsor is Mark's Finest Papers. And the prize is 4 sets of their December new releases and a $25 gift certificate!!!!

This month you will take your inspiration from the great state of California. I was inspired by the state flower (poppy) and the state insect (butterfly).



I used "poppy" colored paper and ink. I also added some poppy flowers and a butterfly.

Stamps: Sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers, Poppy from Stampin' Up, butterfly from Serendipity Stamps.
DP: DCWV
CS: Poppy Parade, Sahara Sand, black, Blush Blossom, from SU.
Inks: Poppy Parade from SU, black
I stamped the poppies on Blush Blossom and Poppy Parade cs and colored with watercolor crayons.
