For my Design Team Project, I used one of the totally love-ly images from the full sheet, Flappers #3.
I added paper flowers and a bright floral decorative paper!  Take a look.

This loving couple is stamped with black dye ink on glossy white CS.  I used an edge die cut to make this curvy edge.

I added a "bunch" of white paper flowers with a pink rhinestone in each center.  Also a white ribbon!

And, here is a final look at this loving couple.  I will use this as a Spring/Summer wedding card, an anniversary card, or a love card.

Hark the Sweetest Angels Sing

Hi Dreamers!
I am back today with some Christmas Cheer.  Today's card is made with one of the stamps from The Stampsmith's full sheet  called "Thank Heaven for Little Girls #1".  This image is so adorable and makes great Christmas cards.

I stamped this photo stamp with black dye ink on glossy white CS.  It was layered with red and black CS.  the card base is made from dark green CS and layered with a piece of Holiday DP from K & Company.

I stamped a Christmas Sentiment from My Sentiments Exactly with red ink, cut into a banner shape, and added to the card front with dimensionals.    A bow tied  in  pretty ribbon  finishes off the card.   Isn't this stamp so, so, so sweet??!  Well, another card for my Christmas basket.  This card will be sent out to a friend.
Hope you are having a great day and enjoying your travels around Blogland.  So happy you  stopped by to say hi!  Love ya.

Stampsmith November Challenge---White on White

Hi Dreamers!
It is a day for challenges!  The Stampsmith November Challenge opens today!  The theme for November is

White on White with at least one Stampsmith Stamp

There is an optional added twist.  Make it a Holiday card!!  One selected winner will take home a gift certificated for $21 to use on the Stampsmith Store site.

For my White on White Design team project, I used "Christmas Angels".

To make this Christmas Angels card:

  • Stamp the image on glossy white CS with black die ink
  • Cut image out with a circle Spellbinder die.

  • Make a white card base
  • Layer card base with white decorative paper from My Mind's Eye
  • Dry emboss two strips of white CS using two different Embossing Folders
  • Dry emboss a square of white CS with a  folder that has a circular image-this folder is from Sizzix.

  • Layer all the dry embossed pieces onto the card.
  • Add ribbon, a tag with sentiment, and pearls.

  • On the inside add the decorative paper, dry embossed strips and a Christmas sentiment (this sentiment is from Blue Ridge Impressions).

This was a really fun card to make....adding interest with layers and textures instead of colors.  I hope you will try this challenge!!

  • Feathers and polka dot ribbon were used as accents.

Fall Quilt and Craft Show Card

Hi Dreamers!
Felling the Fall vibe yet?  The leaves are starting to change here in Michigan and have put me in the mood  to make Fall themed cards.  My project today is made with a Stampsmith Stamp Set called Country Landscape full sheet.  The quilt themed stamps on this set really made me think---Fall Quilt and craft show.  I made this card thinking that it was a poster to advertise a show in the country in Autumn.  Think rustling leaves, crisp air, and changing leaves.  Are you feeling it??!!  Here is the card.

I stamped the images with Sienna Archival ink on glossy white CS. Then cut them into squares and rectangles; and glued to a base.
I cut narrow ( 1/8") from decorative paper and used them to created a patchwork like border around the stamped images.  I let some of the borders hang off the edge of the base.

On the inside, I stamped a nice fall themed sentiment from Sweet N' Sassy stamps.  I will send this card out to a friend just to say Hi!

Just a reminder that The Stampsmith Grateful Challenge is still open and you have plenty of time to enter.  You could take home a $21 gift certificate to The Stampsmith store.
Hope you are having a lovely fall day!  Love ya.

Shabby Chic Card for Stampsmith Card Swap

Hi Dreamers!
I am participating.in another card swap over on The Stampsmith's Yahoo group (anyone can join the yahoo group).  My card went to fellow Design Team Member, Julie.  I am pretty sure that Julie has received her card by now.  I used one of the four lovelies from the Belinda and Friends full sheet.  I stamped the image with Archival ink on glossy white CS.

I cut the stamped image with a Spellbinders oval die.   I also added a die cut frame, butterfly, and a punched edge.  Ranger Distress Crackle paint was applied to the frame, punched edge, and the butterfly....  Adds lots of shabby chic charm.

That pretty DP is from 7 Gypsies.   I also added a plaid sheer ribbon.

Hope Julie likes her card!!  And, I hope you are having a fantastic day!!  Love ya.

Family Tea with The Stampsmith

Hi Dreamers!
I received several packs of 7 Gypsy decorative paper from the lovely Christine at Christine's Creations!!  Thank you so much, Christine!!  I am really enjoying the papers.  I used a sheet on today's card.  The papers are so nice you can just about slap a stamped image on them and you are done.  Well, I did add a few other things too.

The stamp is called "Family Tea" and is from The Stampsmith.  I stamped the image on glossy white CS with black dye ink.  Added some layers, two glittery ribbons, and some gold pearls.  I think this could double as a Holiday card if I put a Happy Holiday sentiment on the inside.  I think that is what I will do since I am in dire need of Christmas cards.

And, now some fun Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: anything goes
Fab and Funky: starts with F---Family
Love to Create: anything goes

So, what are you up to?  Are you going to make any Halloween cards?  I am going to make just a few for my family and my BF.  Then I really must start thinking about my Christmas cards.   Well, guess that's all for now.  I hope you are having a great day!  Love ya.
