Nautical Themed Card

 Hello Everyone,

Today's post features a masculine nautical themed card.  This can be used for any occasion.  I used this for a birthday card.

The stamp is from Stampendous.  I stamped with black archival ink and used distress inks to add all the color.

Bon Voyage!   See you next time with bunny b-day card!

Keep Sailing Along with Technique Junkies

Hello Everyone!
I am still very busy working on my landscaping project.  But, I just had to take some time out to work with another of the Technique Junkies June New Releases!  I made a nautical themed card in white and shades of blue.

Make It:

  • Make a card base from medium blue texture CS
  • Cut the white CS larger than the image and stamp Keep Sailing with navy ink
  • Layer with navy CS and add to card base

  • Wrap two blue ribbons around bottom of card
Super cute!!  I think this would be a sweet birthday or encouragement card.  And, what about a card for a baby boy??  Hmmm. I think so..... Darling!
Thanks for stopping by today.  I will have two more beach/ocean themed projects next week! So, stop by for that.  Hope your day is super nice.   Love ya

Make Your Decorative Paper the Focal Point

Hi Dreamers,
I had a nice weekend celebrating my birthday.   We went out for dinner on Saturday.  And my brother and his girlfriend treated my to lunch on Sunday.  Very fun!  I am back today with a few cards that showcase decorative paper.  I have lots of beautiful papers that I sometimes neglect.   I decided to make the papers the focal point.  I made seven cards total and will share the nautical/ beach themed cards today.  (I am saving the other two for another post.)    The cards have a  masculine  feel, but could be used for the ladies as well.

The papers are all from K & Company.  I also used some of K & Company's Dimensional Stickers that coordinate with their papers.  I left some blank on the inside and added a sentiment to some.  Just a nice group of general cards.

This palm tree card is a retirement card

I did stamp a sentiment on this last card.

******Challenges for my Decorative paper cards:
Loves Rubber Stamps: a sentiment on the front--the last card with the ship
613 Avenue: anything goes
Unstampa belles: old stash---I used some pre-cut cards with matching envelopes that I have had for a year
Craft-Room: trees or leaves--the palm tree card
Through the craftroom door: anything goes

Well, that's it for today.  I will back soon with two more cards that feature Decorative paper.    See you then!!  Love ya.
