Pretty Medallions All Occasion Cards

Hi Dreamers!

Hope you are having a great week!  Things are just fine here in good old Michigan, USA.  Having lovely cool weather--should be hot.  I like cool better though, so I am happy.  I can get out and work in the yard without passing out from the heat.  LOL.  

I have three fun cards to share today.  The cards went to Card Care Connection. They send out cards to cancer patients.  I used some cute sentiments and pretty papers to make the cards.

Materials:

Stamps: Dropping you a Note- DeNami; Sunshine-Impression Obsession; Circle Frames - My Sentiments Exactly

CS: coral, blue, and blue polka dot

DP: various from Cosmo Cricket

Circle Punches

Edge Punches-Stampin' Up

Ribbons

Instructions:

• Make three A2 cards from CS
• Punch strips of CS with the edge punches
• Add the DP and the edge punched pieces
• Stamp the circle frames and add the sentiments
• Punch the circle layers 
• Wrap ribbon around card and tie
• Add the "medallions" with dimensional adhesive

Easy Peasy!  And, some nice cards perfect for cheering up a special someone.

Spring One Layer Card in White and Pinks

Hello Dreamers!
Just a quick post to share this pretty in pinks one layer card I made yesterday.  Take a peek

Materials:

Stamps: Floral Fun from My Sentiments Exactly!  ( Yes, MSE! is back!!)

CS: White

Ink: Regal Rose - Stampin' Up

Markers: Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeade--Stampin' Up

Ribbon: Shell - AMuse Studios

Stickles: Thistle

Instructions:

• Make a card from White CS
• Using the Regal Rose ink stamp off once and stamp the long border stamp
• Ink the floral stamp with the two markers and stamp

• Ink the Sentiment with the Melon Mambo marker and stamp
• Add some light pink pearls
• Apply Stickles to centers of flowers
• Tie Ribbon around card

Easter Cards -Quick and Easy

Hi Dreamers!
I spent the day yesterday at a card making event sponsored by, Suzanne Everett. My friend, Sharon, and I spent the day making 14 cards.  You have to hustle a bit to get them done, but it sure was fun!  We did not make any Easter cards, but that is fine as I had finished my Easter cards this week.  I thought I would share the Easter cards I made.  I had quite a few to make and wanted to make them "quick and easy".  Take a look.

I had all these tulips in my already stamped box.  I just pulled them out and added some layers, ribbon, and Easter Sentiments.   Here is a close up of one.  I did a bit of distressing on this one with Vintage Photo Distress ink.

This batch was made with papers and some pre-cut shapes from a Crate Paper set.  I had a pack of Easter Rub-ons from My Sentiments Exactly.  I added the rub-ons to the pre-cut shapes...and instant cards!  The Easter blessing is made with a piece of DP from Stampin' up---the colors worked well with the Crate Paper pre-cuts.

I stamped some tulips and added some papers from Stampin' up.  

This was a rub-on.  The papers are all from Stampin' Up.

So, I was able to get these cards done in time.   The cards that have to be mailed went out on Friday.   The rest will be hand delivered.

Domino Snowmen Ornaments

I have something a little different today.  My good buddy, Leigh, inspired me to try my hand at altering dominoes.  Check out all the Christmas Domino projects on Leigh's Domino Art blog.  Here are my Snowmen Ornaments.

Materials List:

Dominoes

Stamps: Snow Kisses - My Sentiments Exactly

Set Black Stazon Ink

Copic Marker - Process Blue B05

Metallic Silver Marker - American Crafts

Glossy Accents - Ranger

Silver Wire

14” Glass Seed Bead Strands - Michaels Craft Store

Assorted Beads

Cord Trim - Jo Anns

Fabri-Tac Glue

Instructions:

Stamp the snowman onto the dominoes with the Stazon ink.  When the ink is dry, color around the snowmen with the Blue Copic Marker.  Draw around edge of domino with a Metallic marker.  Apply glue around the side edges of the dominoes.  Wrap the wire and bead strand around one of the dominoes.  Twist the wire to hold the bead strand together.  Wrap the cord around the other domino.  For the first ornament, add more beads to the ends of the wire.   Curl the ends of the wire and trim.  For the second ornament, add large beads to the ends of the cord and tie cord in a knot.

Pretty fun project.  I did have some trouble finding a stamp that look good on the domino.  I am so glad I had this MSE! snowman set!   Now, let me see, what does the schedule say is coming up tomorrow?  Oh, I think you will like this...a very vintagey Holiday card with Paper Artsy.  See you then!  Love ya.
