Ribbon Christmas Tree Part 2

Hello Everyone,
Hope your Holiday preparations are going well.  I have one more Christmas card Post for this year.  This is the second post for my Ribbon Scrap Christmas Tree cards.  See Part One here.

I added an folded flap on the cards with a punched edge. Also added a little bit of bling via the rhinestones.

I have repeated the instructions for making the trees below:

• I collected a huge pile of ribbon scraps:  all lengths, widths, and colors.
• Press a piece of cotton fabric nice and flat; I used muslin.
• Lay out the muslin on a heat proof surface: I used my ironing board.
• On top of the muslin, lay a sheet of Stitch Witchery Fusible bonding web 
• Place all the ribbon scraps on top of the Stitch Witchery, butting the ribbons together, completely covering the muslin. 
• Use a press cloth and fuse the layers together with an iron.
• Now you have a piece of ribbon fabric
• Cut triangles from the ribbon fabric and use them for the trees.
• I added a piece of brown twill ribbon for the tree truck
• Glue to CS with Fabric Tac glue

Ribbon Christmas tree

Back today with another Christmas card.  This card was made with ribbon scraps.  Here is how I used the ribbon scraps to make this project.

I made a few cards with a colored background too.

Super way to use all those ribbon pieces that you can't bear to toss in the trash.
I also think you could cut circles from the ribbon fabric and make an ornament.

Poinsettias and Amaryllis Stickers

Hello,
Sharing two more of the Christmas cards I made using 3-D stickers.  Foil and white paper was used for the backgrounds and green CS for the card base.

I was happy that I finally figured out a great way to use these Holiday 3-D stickers.  I always think of them as embellishments, but they are not.  I find that I have to design the card around them to make them work.  See my other 3-D sticker cards here .

Christmas Cardinal

Hello Everyone,
December already!!  This year has just flown by!!  And, it is Christmas card time again.  I have mine all finished.  Now, I have to sit down, address, and write in them. 
Today, I have a card I made with a holiday 3-D sticker.  Take a look.

The glittery gold strip is washi tap.  And I added some gold pearls. The color scheme is not a traditional Christmas color scheme, but I like the results. 

On this card, a foil striped paper was used to showcase the Tree sticker.  I added some metallic green brads and rhinestones.
