Parade of Lovely Shoes

 Hello Everyone,

So glad you dropped by today for more of my girlie card month in honor of Mother's Day.  

Love the teal shoes and color scheme.  I can image wearing these awesome shoes with a fabulous dress!!

If the Shoe Fits...

 Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to girlie month here in Dreamland.  In honor of Mother's Day, I will be focusing on super girlie themes like lipsticks, shoes and purses.   Today's card features a die cut purse to wear with lovely shoes.



Stamps:

Lace was added to the edge of the purse and used to dress up the gray ribbon bow.

Elegant Celebration with Shoes!

 Hello Everyone,

Back today with more of my girlie themed cards for the month of May in honor of Mother's Day.  What is more girlie than shoes, flowers, and lace??!! I intend to use the cards for birthdays, but the cards would work for other celebrations too.

Backgrounds are filled with lots of elements including lace, floral die cuts, and Eiffel tower die cut.

Bold As Your LIpstick

 Hello,

Today's cards are two that I made for my nieces who are very Fabulous!  This month I will be focusing on very girlie cards with lipsticks, purses, and shoes.  Check out my Mother's Day cards in the previous post.

I used the Bold as your lipstick sentiment on the inside.


A totally different color scheme on the second card.


In the next post, I will share some very girlie cards with shoes.  OOOh. Who doesn't love shoes??

Mother's Day Cards

 Hello,

It is May already!! That means Mother's Day!  I make cards for all my besties.  I also made some similar cards for my nieces that are not mothers but are super special to me.  I will post their cards in the next post.

I just love this sentiment about being bold as your lipstick.  I thought it was appropriate for all my super sweet girlfriends. I used bold colors for the cards and made them very girly.  I added die cut circles and pretty papers for the backgrounds.  



Stamps: Dressed To Impress set and matching dies from Stampin' Up.
Lipsticks are colored with Copics.  Flowers are two step stamping stamps.

Guest Designing for 4 Krafty Girlz

Hi Dreamers!
I was invited to join the lovely ladies over on the 4 Krafty Girlz Challenge blog as a Guest Designer for the month of October!!!  Check out their challenges!!  The challenge are always fun with cool prizes and run for two weeks.  The current challenge, that starts today, is an Anything Goes Challenge!!

For my Guest Designer project, I used an image from Dilly Beans called Daisy Girl Framed.




Materials:
CS: White, Always Artichoke and Rich Razzleberry (Stampin' Up)
Decorative Papers: Lost and Found Blush from My Mind's Eye
Copic and Marvey Alcohol Markers
Plum Pearls from Kaiser Craft
Magenta Colored Grosgrain Ribbon
Dimensional Adhesive





Instructions:

  • Make a top fold card from Rich Razzleberry CS
  • Layer with Always Artichoke CS
  • Add  two pieces of DP






  • Print out two image in two different sizes
  • Color the larger image with Alcohol Markers
  • Cut out around the image
  • Add to card front with dimensional adhesive







  • On the second smaller printed image, color just the flowers
  • Cut out the flowers
  • Add the flowers to the lower right corner with dimensional adhesive





  • Tie the ribbon in a bow and glue to card
  • Add a few pearls to the hair and the flowers



Inside



  • On the inside, repeat the paper layers
  • Stamp a pretty sentiment (this one is from  Stamping Bella) on White CS
  • Add three more flowers

Oh So Girlie Jane Austen Inspired Card

Hi Dreamers!
I am back today with one more of my Jane Austen themed cards.  This card features an Artistic Outpost stamp set, die cuts and lots of girlie embellishments.  






Materials:
Ink: Bordering Blue (Stampin' Up), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Distress Markers (Ranger)
CS: Medium blue, pale green textured, gray, and white
Spellbinders die
Sky Blue Seam binding (Stampin' Up)
Paper flowers
tiny Pearls





Instructions:

  • Make a folded card from the Medium blue CS and layer with pale green textured CS
  • Die cut a shape from white CS
  • On white CS die cut shape-- stamping off once, stamp  the background with Bordering--repeat once more to cover the background.
  • Stamp Jane with Tuxedo Black







  • Color the image with Distress Markers
  • Die cut  a larger shape from gray CS and layer with the stamped piece
  • Add to card front






  • Make a bow with gathered tails---starting at the outside edge of one tail, hand sew gathering stitches along the tail.  Run the thread through the knot and continue the gathering stitches down the other tail. Pull up the stitches to gather and knot the thread.







  • Distress the paper flowers with the Bordering Blue ink and glue to card
  • Add pearls to the center of each flower and also scatter some pearls around.
