Cute Card with Pretty Dress

Hi Dreamers,
Well, here we go...Today is the first post of all the charity cards I made (70 cards total).  I made three cute little dress cards using a digi from Michelle Perkett.  The cards went out to Operation Write Home.  There are some guidelines to follow for OWH cards: no glitter, A2 size, minimal bumpiness, and blank on the inside.  Here is a photo of all the cards for OWH.

This image is a digi that I printed out on white CS and colored with Markers.  I made three different versions.

I added some all occasion sentiments to each card.  The cards are sent overseas to service men and women.  They use the cards to write home to loved ones.  I think this is a great cause and I have been making cards for OWH for years.  Check out the OWH site for more info.

And how about a few fun challenges!!
Can you digi it: getting girly
Inky Chicks: anything goes
Shopping Our Stash: 3 things with T--Teal CS, Tags, Three die Cut circles --version 2
Craft door magazine: Anything goes

Let's see, what do I have for tomorrow??  How about a trip down the yellow brick road!??  See you tomorrow!!  Have a great day!  Love ya.

Winter Birds Christmas Greeting

Hi Dreamers!
Today, I am channeling cuteness.......I wanted to make a cute Christmas card and so I printed out a few Meljens images.  I thought these birds were so sweet.

The images is colored with Copic Markers.  The DP is from K & Company.

The Label and the circles are die cut with  Spellbinders dies and the scallop square is a Sizzix die.

My Top Tip Tuesday Tip is to use Stickles to make a glittery frame around the image.

This will go in my Christmas Card basket.  I know I keep saying this, "Now I need to start mailing the cards"  !!  I did go to the Post Office today and buy stamps.  So, I have no excuses now.  Maybe I will get started on that tomorrow.

Challenges for my Winter Birds Christmas Greeting
Meljens: Sketch

365 Cards: Day 279 --gingham
Clear It Out: Christmas--the DP I have had for 3 years.
Digital Tuesday: non traditional Christmas
Holly Jolly Christmas: bingo--Red, free, glitter
Tip Top Tuesday: Christmas--Stickles to make a frame
Craft room Door: Anything goes #47

Tomorrow, check back for two snowman ornaments made out of dominoes.  See you then!  Love ya.

Missing You Wintry Owl

Hi Dreamers!
I have some new digis and the images are so cute I just had to print some out.  I combined two images from Meljens Designs.  I find it easy to combine images in Word.  I just "Insert" them and then I can change the size and move them around.  That is what I did for this card.  Here is my Missing You Owl.

To Make this card:
  • "Insert" the sentiment into a blank Word Document, and then the main image under the sentiment.
  • I fussed with the re-sizing a bit and centered the sentiment.
  • Print out on Neenah CS.

This could be an all occasion card to send in the winter months,or would make a nice Christmas card with an appropriate sentiment inside.  Isn't this image just so sweet!?  I am a bit of an owl fan.

A few fun Challenges for my "Missing You Owl" card:
Meljens Digital Stamps: missing you
Through the craft room door: anything goes #41
Jingle Belles rock: use a creature
ABC Christmas: U is up to you
ABC Challenge: z is for zoo-use an animal
Fab and Funky: animals

I will be posting my messy desk top as soon as I am finished with this post!  ---You know WOYWW with the Stamping Ground.  So be right back with that!!  I hope you are having a great day.  Today is my health and beauty day---I am going to get an one hour massage---Oh, heaven.  So I should be all relaxed and happy for the rest of the week.    LOL  Love ya.
