Cute First Birthday Card

 Hello Everyone,

I am back after a little blogging break.  I have been expending all my energy working in the yard and garden.  After working, I am worn out and don't feel like doing too much else.  LOL But I did still take time to make a few cards.  Today, I would like to share a cute first birthday card.

Animal stamps and dies: My Favorite Things

I started with a white cs background and colored it with distress ink. The animals were stamped with dye ink and colored with copic markers.

I turned the sketch and used straight lines instead of waves.  My "sun" is a balloon.

Will be back to posting regularly now.  I have had to slow down with the gardening and landscape type work.  I strained every muscle in my abdomen and have had to cut down to one hour at a time.  I don't get very much done, but enough for now.  It's always something, isn't it?? lol, Hope you have a lovely day.

See you next time with some pretty bird cards.

Cute Birds All Occasion Card Set

Hi Dreamers!
How was your weekend?   Good, I hope.  I did more yard work, ran errands and made cards.......
Today I have a card set I made for my friend.  She wanted cutesy cards to send to her granddaughters.   I used some really cute digis from Fred, She Said Designs' Burds Collections.

I printed the images onto white CS and colored with Copic Markers.  I added lots of die cut pieces and some pretty papers from Cosmo Cricket.

I stamped some fun Bird theme sentiments too.

Well, that was just a quick post for a Sunday afternoon.  I have to go and make a salad to pack for my husband's lunch tomorrow.   Have to go pick the lettuce from the garden first...LOL   Wish I had some ripe tomatoes.  No ripe ones yet. Have a great evening.
PS: I did get all the cards done for the order my neighbor placed on Thursday.  I will take a pic or two of those.  See you next time.  Love ya.

Card Drive for Emma!!

IMG_0385

Hi Dreamers!
Today I will be sharing the 6 cards I made for Emma.  Kelly Bertram is hosting this card drive for 7 year old Emma who has Leukemia and will be going through treatment over the next two years.  Kelly would like to collect enough cards to give Emma a card each week throughout her treatment.  Check out all the details on Kelly's Blog here.

Let's look at the cards!

I used a variety of cute stamps to make these cheerful cards.  Emma's favorite colors are green, purple, and blue.  I stuck with those colors for the most part.  But, how could I make cards for a little girl without using pink??!  I could not.  LOL   All the images are  colored with Copic Markers.

The cards will go out in the mail on Friday.  Kelly will collect the cards and hand deliver them to Emma's family.  I could go with lots of layers and ribbons since I didn't have to worry about them going through the mail individually.  That's the way I like it!  LOL  Sometimes you really have to rein in the bumpiness for mailing considerations.   Check out Kelly's blog if you would like to make a few cards for Emma!!
Kelly and a bunch of her friends are having a blog hop to spread the word about this card drive.  The first stop is Amy's blog.
