Bottle Cards

Hello Everyone!
Today I have a collection of cards I made with a bottle stamp and punch.  I used punched bottles as masks too to make interesting backgrounds.  I also stamped directly onto paper. Also punched out bottles and added them to backgrounds. Spray inks were used to add color.

Card below has a reverse mask technique.  I put the punched bottles down on the paper and sprayed the inks.  Then removed the punched bottle masks to reveal paper.

I have more of the bottle cards.  This was one of those projects where I wanted to see how the stamp looked in many colors and techniques.  So, I just kept stamping and stamping. Like I often do. LOL

See you next time for more of the bottle cards.

Bird cards!

Hello Crafty Friends,
Today I have a collection of bird cards I made for friends.  I mad the cards for them to send out. All the cards use the same stamp set.  I did some fussy cutting and made die cuts for the backgrounds.

The cards turned out quite pretty and my besties were really pleased to receive them and look forward to sending them out.  Share the joy!

Wedding Easel Card

Hello Everyone!
Was on a blogging break during the summer. Seemed like I was just busy all the time and I was working on several quilt projects too. So here I am back with cards that I have been making over the last few months. This is a wedding card I made for my bestie Sandie.

I stamped flowers and fussy cut, made lots of die cuts, used gold embossing powder, and gold papers to put together this elegant easel wedding card.
The gold sealing was piece on the envelope came from the wedding invitation.

So glad to be back and blogging. I still have lots of yard work to do for the end of the season, but I will have more time to post photos and write a few lines. Thanks for stopping by today and see you next time!!

Window Views Part Three

 Hello Everyone

Wanted to share more of the cards I have been working on for months.  Most of them went to my BFFs and I kept a few.  This is a collection of cards featuring a window view. I used one stamp and die set and varied how I stamped the images on the cardstock and how the die cuts were used.

Stamp and Die set: Welcoming Window from Stampin' Up

The use a combination of stamping and die cutting.  Cards one and two use decorative paper backgrounds.

This card has a stamped brick wall background.

That is the last of the window view cards.  I still have many more cards left in the collection of cards that I made for my BFFs.  I will continue to post those.  I have lots of photos to edit too.  But I will endeavor to get them all posted.

So glad you stopped by today.  I hope you are having a lovely day.

Happy Mother's Day Shaker Card

 Hello Everyone

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I wanted to make some shaker cards and use the bottle shape dome that was purchased a while ago. So, I thought this would make a lovely Mother's Day Card.  I filled the dome with some bobbles that my BFF gave me.  I used the stamp set called Bottled Happiness with matching punch from Stampin' Up.

Fun projects to make.  My first shaker card. LOL

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Window Views Part One

 Hello Everyone

Wanted to share more of the cards I have been working on for months.  Most of them went to my BFFs and I kept a few.  This is a collection of cards featuring a window view. I used one stamp and die set and varied how I stamped the images on the cardstock and how the die cuts were used.

Stamp and Die set: Welcoming Window from Stampin' Up

A brick wall dry embossing folder was used on the first two cards.

This was inspired by a card on the Stampin Up web site. And is nice and simple and so sweet for a friend.

I hate to repeat myself but, the cards were really fun to make, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  My BFFs loved them too.   See you next time with more of the window scene cards.
